Can't Find My Stock or Fund

When you add a holding, the search box looks up stocks, ETFs, mutual funds and crypto. If what you’re looking for doesn’t show, check these in order.

1. Your Market Coverage setting is hiding it

Search only shows results from the countries you’ve turned on. When results are hidden, a note at the bottom of the search list says so — for example “Your Market Coverage filter hid 3 results” — and names the countries they’re from. Click the note to change the setting.

Fix: go to Settings → Market Coverage (agnifolio.com/settings) and turn on the exchanges you need, or click Enable all.

Note

If you dismissed that note with ×, it won’t appear again on that device — but the filter still applies. Check Market Coverage if results seem to be missing.

2. Search a different way

• Indian mutual funds — search by the fund name as it appears on your statement, or paste its ISIN (the 12-character code starting with INF). Include Direct or Regular and Growth or IDCW to find the exact plan.
• Indian shares — try the company name or the NSE symbol. Pick the listing ending in .NS (NSE) or .BO (BSE). A plain symbol like TCS may match a company on a foreign exchange.
• Other countries — try the ticker symbol. Each result shows its exchange and country, so you can pick the right listing.
• Spelling — try a shorter part of the name, e.g. Parag Parikh instead of the full scheme name.

3. Add it by hand

If it still isn’t there — for example unlisted shares, a PMS, or a very new listing — type the name and save the holding without picking a result. Enter its value yourself.

A holding added this way has no live price, so update its value when you get a new statement. Entry Reminders can prompt you with a review date.
