Daily Reveal
Daily Reveal is the once-per-day moment at the top of your dashboard. Every day it gives you one fresh, AI-generated observation about your portfolio, tracks a check-in streak for showing up, and counts down the days to your financial-freedom date.
What you see
Section titled “What you see”Daily Reveal spans two places on the dashboard:

Today’s insight
Section titled “Today’s insight”The insight is one specific sentence computed from your actual portfolio — not generic advice. Examples of what it might surface:
- A concentration flag: “Your largest holding makes up 42.8% of your assets.”
- A drift observation: your allocation moving away from its usual shape
- A momentum note: an unusually strong or weak position over recent days
A new insight is generated each day. If the insight service is ever slow or unavailable, the strip simply doesn’t render — it never delays your dashboard.
The streak
Section titled “The streak”Your first visit of the day records a check-in automatically. Consecutive daily visits build a streak, shown as a chip next to the insight; hover it to see your best-ever streak.
Days to freedom
Section titled “Days to freedom”The Financial Independence card shows your progress toward your FIRE target as a countdown in days, alongside your target amount, current net worth, and the amount remaining. A trend sparkline shows whether your freedom date has been moving closer or drifting away.
The countdown is derived from the same FIRE projection as the rest of the card — your target, current net worth, and contribution/growth assumptions. Making progress (or markets moving) visibly changes the number.
Hiding it
Section titled “Hiding it”Both surfaces have independent visibility toggles. Open the dashboard section settings (gear icon on the dashboard) and switch off:
- Daily Reveal — hides the insight + streak strip
- Financial Freedom — hides the days-to-freedom countdown inside the Financial Independence card
Turn either back on at any time; your streak history is preserved server-side.
